The Rope Rescue Technician course covers concepts and techniques to enable small teams to undertake technical rope rescues.
A building block approach is used throughout the course so that candidates can progress from key concepts through to the rigging and operation of full systems for raising, lowering and highline rescues.
Location: Plas Y Brenin - using mountain and on site facilities / Can alternatively be at customer's location or catered to the environment they work in
Duration: 2.5 days

Requirements:
- A good knowledge of rock systems and persistence and technical rescue
- All technical Kit can be provided clients need to provide their own clothing suitable for the environment
Qualification: RRT Certificate - this is an assessed course appropriate for a team leader of a rope rescue team.
Ideal for: Mountain rescue teams, disaster relief teams, industrial rope access teams, coastguard teams.
Rope Rescue Technician is a Rescue 3 Europe course.
