The Rope Rescue Operator course introduces the knowledge and skills required by personnel to operate safely and effectively during rope rescues.
The qualifying student will be an active part of a rope rescue team working under the supervision of Rope Rescue Technicians.
Location: Plas Y Brenin - using mountain and on site facilities / Can alternatively be at customer's location
Duration: 2.5 days
1:6 RATIO
Requirements:
- Completion of the Safe Working at Height course or familiarity with anchor building and more complicated rope work
- All technical Kit can be provided clients need to provide their own clothing suitable for the environment
Qualification: This is an assessed course that will prepare somebody to be a fully active member of the rope rescue team under the supervision of a team leader.
Ideal for: Mountain rescue teams, disaster relief teams, industrial rope access teams, coastguard teams.
Rope Rescue Operator is a Rescue 3 Europe course.
